Thoughts on Re-Vamp:
![]() | Hey, there's a club night I can and will go to. |
![]() | *One* cooler. And three rye-and-gingers. (And a beer I did not drink.) Also, tips to the bartender. *Always* tip the bartender. |
![]() | Dancing. I've missed dancing. |
![]() | I will tell you a secret about someone there. They are a clockwork doll, you see, built by a fine and talented machinist. He extrapolated his own figure and form into his doll's, built something pale and wonderful. But he didn't notice how much time he spent bent over his workbench gears and tools, didn't correct for it, and now when the doll walks and dances they move like their maker, spine gently arced forward, hands spinning invisible brass. |
![]() | Did I mention the three rye-and-gingers? Also, I was reading Unhallowed Metropolis before I went out. These are the thoughts that come to mind. |
![]() | I figured why to game with people rather than replay a computer game. You get stories cut for your character, and ones where you don't know how it plays out, and you get to play with people it's actively fun to be around. If people promise you won't get this, why go and pay on someone else's schedule when you can stay home and play on your own for free? |
![]() | I made Ryan crack up. Twice. He doesn't lose any Goth Points, though, because he's running the night. He is exempt from all penalties due to laughter. |
![]() | Ottawa. Swear to god. Four hundred people, extras for the street scenes. |
![]() | I heard at least three people say tonight that "this is the kind of place Vampire should be played". Understand what's meant. Agree, even. Immortal or ancient or powerful, doesn't matter, always always need to come back out to where it's dark and clouded enough to not spot faces across the room and you can find someone you can believe won't be missed for a night. |
![]() | Not tragic. Never tragic. |
![]() | World's finest husband, months past and all the years to come. |
