Waffling.

Torn between trying to pick up imps or half-imps of the BPAL Phoenix update, or trying to place an order for same and run off decants.

This is a very silly thing to be worrying about, which may be why it's engaging so much of my attention. Getting engrossed in something that is fundamentally both Not Important and Completely Under My Control is kind of a nice neutral place to put my energy right now.

PSA - Steven Moffat

Steven Moffat has just hit the magic list of "scriptwriters whose work I will deliberately hunt down". He wrote three Hugo-winning episodes for Doctor Who--"The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances", "Girl in the Fireplace", and "Blink"[1]--and they are amazing stuff.

I just rented BBC's Jekyll from Elgin Street Video, on the strength of it being (1) BBC TV and (2) on their Highly Recommended wall. Modern-day ?retelling? ?reworking? ?follow-up? to Stevenson's classic Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

I found out as the opening credits rolled that it was also written by Steven Moffat.

I'm half an hour in. It's beautiful.
