I was expecting that people would see the post first on either their Friends page or my LJ page, where the cut marks it as a spoiler; the only way to get to the text without going through an LJ-cut is going to my Wednesday-night late-night two-line Dethklok post and clicking "forward" from there, which I didn't think was typical.
I'm currently trying to figure out a better option. I dislike the look of spoiler space on LJ rather than Usenet, and changing the text to match the background doesn't work if people have a default background set up that isn't white.
Possibly a combination of LJ-cuts and font-colour in the future? I'm sorry.
