I need to read more humour.

Unfortunately, I like horror with my humour, and Robert Bloch is dead.

Which has unaccountably slowed his output some.

Noooooo, but Lansdale's a different kind of horror. He's gruesome slapstick, and far too often it's people doing horrible things to each other. (Though, y'know, if I can ever find a copy of /The Drive-In/ in English, I will be a happy woman, or more likely a gleeful fangirl.)

Bloch does wordplay, and tends more towards supernatural horror. He's Vincent Price as opposed to Rob Zombie.
