So, there was this Are you a yaoi fanboy? quiz.

You think I'd've learned by now.

I was still disappointed. On the "pick your favorite manga picture" option, they didn't have anything that covered a character who's meeting a horribly gruesome yet oddly fascinating way. I mean, do you see an option for a picture of someone getting their head eaten away from the inside by a spiral? Someone getting their skin snatched off because their crazy sister has just lost hers and needs a replacement, quick? Someone devolving into a snail-like creature and still coming in to teach his class?[1]

...so, oni_neko, what is june?

[1] A bit of a stretch on the favourite picture thing, I admit, since most of the effect from that scene comes from the captions. Still. *shudders*

i don't know exactly what june is. I can make a guess based on the context of the sentences where they use it. but that's about all. you;re bettr of asking Antra or CD about it. Like you I am more interested in other things besides romance in manga.

I am wondering if there's a name other than "horror" for the kind of manga I'm interested in. Have you read Uzumaki? The movie was a fairly decent adaptation...

(I also find it faintly amusing that the quiz diagnosis was "you don't know what yaoi is", when I do. Admittedly, only because it showed up in Sexy Losers, which I really wish would update more often, since I want to know what's going to happen to the zombie and the necrophiliac...)

yes the CD I was rferring to is indeed cdrhom.

and horror/scifi is possibly the only category that will consistently interest you. i don't think I've read Uzumaki...

I admit I found the quiz lacking in appropriate answers to some questions. I was introduced to yaoi thru a really well written fanfic.
