I assume everyone's already seen the LJ friendsCollage, courtesy of

I'm wondering what a stranger would parse this as. "Behind a drear building, a man turns into lightning and becomes the sun, confusing a large platypus"?

That's about right, but the lightning is the special effect for him transforming; and I would have said he was transforming into the platypus myself. Not that it makes any sense or is supposed to.
I stumbled onto a page headed 'RGRA regulars' while looking for something, and it had 2 people who actually live in Ottawa, so I ended up reading through your comics.
RSI is pretty funny. I think the wordiness of it could be helped just by making the panels larger so the text isn't using up as big a percentage. Quite didn't really make much sense, as the first bunch of strips don't show up (same with RSI).
I saw Chris DeBurgh in 2000. I haven't heard Into the Light. Spark to a Flame is pretty much all great being the best of... Spanish Train is also mostly good, although the songs I don't like much are Patricia, and The Painter (maybe because they are hard to sing). This Way Up has a couple I like; The Snows of New York, and Up Here in Heaven. Nothing else really stands out in my memory.

R.S.I.'s already drawn 13" x 4" in the original, and I'm not sure I could letter much smaller and have it still be readable, though I have considered it (possibly with computer lettering or something).
The strips not showing up is due to Sympatico being a pain, honestly. It stopped letting me upload new files until I'd gotten rid of a couple of megs of old ones; I'm switching to Rogers soon, which if nothing else allows for more webspace. (It's really more of a problem for Quite than for R.S.I., which is a lot more episodic.
I confess to having a soft spot for The Painter, although that may be because I recognized the poem he's retelling the story of very quickly, and I always liked that poem. (It's My Last Duchess (http://poetryarchive.bravepages.com/ABCD_poets/browning-rob.html#duchess), should you be interested and not know.)
Will have to pick up This Way Up and listen--perhaps the library has a copy.
