(Forgot lunch. Must pick up a hardboiled egg from the cafeteria.)

Anyway. Should you be looking for icons, [livejournal.com profile] howdotheyrise is a hotbed of them right now. Should you be tipping your hat to the day in your own way, enjoy. Should you think truth, justice, freedom, reasonably-priced love, and a hardboiled egg are good ideas, I suggest picking up Night Watch if you haven't already. Should you not have any idea what I'm talking about... uhm... well, you could ask or you could write it off as a weird little quirk that comes around once a year.

Went to Bridgehead today. There was a sprig of lilac in a water glass next to the front counter. I asked the server why it was there, and she said one of the other employees had left it there, she wasn't sure why.

It is probably just coincidence.

I like to think it is not.
